The Project
Reinked is about Transformation of People through Tattoos and
body modification.
The photographic project »Re-Inked« is focused on a contemporary topic: a society in which it is
increasingly common to be tattooed. The work portrays different characters, from within the tattoo
scene of various ages and shows both, their tattooed and a non-tattooed state.
This switch is made by the movement of the recipient in front of the photograph and uncovers the
original state. Actually I extend the series with portraits of famous musicians and tattoo
artists.

Das Projekt
Die Arbeit konzentriert sich auf das Thema "Transformation"
und die Veränderungen der Wahrnehmung. Dies wird bei einer Ausstellung durch eine direkte
Gegenüberstellung von Portraitierten und Rezipienten erzielt.
Durch die Bewegung des Betrachters ergibt sich inhaltlich ein charakteristischer Wechsel, der die
oft über Jahre vollzogene Verwandlung durch kulturelle Objekte revidiert.
Aktuell wird die Serie mit Musikerportraits und Tätowierkünstlern erweitert.
